    Saltfli, Why on God's green earth are you changing your own oil when the car is under warranty????????? Just pay the dealer (Lube place or whatever) the 30 bucks to have it done ... and *documented*. Why risk warranty problems to save $20 every 5000 miles?!

    I concur afixer. Looks like you got a honest 199 rwhp (243 crank) from the CAI plus Tune. Also, since you dynoed on a very hot day, your probably closer to 250 HP for a cool/dry day. Excellent for just those 2 mods!!!!

    Just out of curiosity, call them and ask. I'm paying $1400/year (full coverage) for my V6 but the insurance company quoted me $4600/year for a GT. F-that BS!!!! At least it made my decision *very* easy. I heard people in California are shelling out around $5200/year to drive a GT.

    Your still picking up around 13 rwhp, which is about 16 extra at the crank for an auto. Ignoring the auto spike, your maxing at around 199 rwhp, which is 243 at the crank (using 18% for the loss due to the auto trans). I doubt the GT muffler is doing anything for the power so that 13 rwhp...

    V6 is better value... Actually, since the insurance on a GT is around $3000/year more than the V6, you can do $3000 worth of work EVERY YEAR to your V6 and still be the original $5000 msrp less than buying a GT. Over a 5 year ownership lifetime, that's $20,000 in mods ($3000 x 5 + $5000)...

    Those wheels are 20x8.5 inches. 8.5 inches should accept really wide tires (at least 275 or 285). Call an expert at tirerack.com (etc) to find out what the widest size you can fit is. With a 20 inch wheel, you are going to have to use *extremely* low profile tires to maintain the same...
