    Depends on the problem. 3 times for a skipping CD player won't get you a new car. :D In Colorado at least, the LL applies if the defect "substantially impairs the use and market value of such motor vehicle after a reasonable number of attempts".

    I know this isn't the same thing, but my A4 Z28 will often times loaf around on flat ground at 40 MPH at 1,100 RPM without leaving overdrive. On level ground, that big V8 (and the computer that controls the auto tranny) doesn't seem to mind running that slowly at 40 MPH.

    True, but this car only had 550 miles on it when I rented it, not too much opportunity to get beat on or abused. 20 MPG out of a V6 with the majority being highway cruising at <65MPH is pretty sad.

    For the 1997-2003 F-150, you would be better off in the Civic. The 97-2003 F-150 is one of the least crashworthy vehicles on the road.

    No, that's just silly. Any car with a production run of 200,000 a year is NOT limited production. Maybe the Cobra could be considered limited production, but certainly not the run of the mill 2005 Mustang. High demand yes, limited production - no.
