    I stopped in a month ago when they had a similar lonely GT Vert, and yes they wanted $3K over MSRP for it. Probably still asking (and getting) $3K over MSRP on this one as well.

    For what it's worth, my current 2002 Z28 is a much more solid car than my last two Mustangs were. Sample size is pretty small though :)

    Hmmm, I'm in Denver and I swear we have the hardest water around. I've gotten at least a dozen washings of my truck and motorcycle out of the first soap/filter set, and it still dries spotless.

    Having spent much of July trolling Ford lots, there are few to no Mustangs available anyway. It's hard to sell what's not on the lots. Since most dealers seem to be selling deep into their '06 allocation, I don't think the fever has ended quite yet...

    They all will, given enough claims. All of your claims go onto your C.L.U.E. report, which is like your credit report for insurance. At-fault are the worst of course, but even a few windshield replacements can cost you in the long run. I carry very high deductibles because of this...

    The only way I can think of is by rolling over negative equity from a previous loan. Which, unfortunately, is the quickest and easiest way to screw yourself over down the road. Or maybe it was one of the most expensive V6's around (aren't they at about $23K and change MSRP fully loaded?)...

    Maybe if he's lucky 2K less than the original MSRP. Problem is - he owes $27K on a V6 Mustang! Probably stickered at $22K or so, which means he'll be extremely lucky to get offered $20K in trade - and I do mean extremely lucky. Even at $20K trade, he's gonna take a $7K hit on the trade-in...

    Dealers simply don't use KBB for valuing your trade-in anyway - especially on a new car like this. It doesn't matter one iota if the 2005's are in KBB or not - it won't affect his trade value in the least. The car's worth what it's worth to the dealer - regardless of what KBB or NADA say...

    Right now a GT will hold its value very well, and is an exception to the rule. Back in '99 when the redesign came out, I had to trade a 6 month old '99 GT and got nearly what I paid for it because they were still in short supply, like the current GT is. The GT is an anomaly right now...
