    Is it safe to use a 170 or 200 amp alternator?

    I have been running a 200 amp alt for about 10 years in my car and so far it hasnt burned down. I did have the wire changed also when the alt was put in.

    Thanks for the info Tim I offered them 630.00 for cat back and uncatted x we will see if they take it Update they took it or pretty much they counter offered it to me for 642.00 so I bought it thanks again for the info

    weak starter when cold

    In extreme temperatures the oil you use can affect the engine turning over slow because your oil is simply cold and thick. At 30 degrees that shouldn't be the issue but in below zero conditions it can happen. I use synthetic oil and it defiantly helps a lot in very cold conditions.

    Injector Cleaning?

    I would say that it cant hurt to clean them but it probably depends on how they were treated for 100k miles. Here is a link for DIY cleaning or you can usually find stock cleaned injectors on ebay for around $125.00 DIY Fuel Injector Cleaning

    Thanks for your opinion. I kinda like them But then I like alot of things that I have done in the past and ended up changing it a few years later so I guess we will see how the test of time holds up or what it looks like when I get it together.
