    Yes the intake will be the same color its not paint its powder coated though in fact there wont be much if any of the engine that isnt powder coated except the block and heads.     Need suggestions on keeping mice out of my car.

    +1 on the bounce fabric softner sheets. Not sure if it is a old wise tale but I have been doing this for the last few years and seen no droppings in my car so its either a coincidence or they work but either way its pretty cheap just in case.

    I only wish that there was a light at the end on the tunnel. I been changing things on this car for about 13 years and it seems that everything I get one thing done Im ready to change something else. As soon as I get this engine and engine bay complete I wonder what I will do to it next.

    Try wiggling your ignition switch and see if that is the actual problem if it seems that wen you wiggle the ignition switch this causes the problem to arise I would change the ignition switch because it is burnt up and it could cause a fire.     I powder coated some engine parts today here are a couple pics its kinda hard to show the quality of chrome powder coat so I took 1 with flash and 1 without. They look awsome in person. I really like the water tube it came out nice way better than painted black

    If you buy those headlights in clear or smoked do yourself a favor and seal them all the way around with some silicone if you dont they will more than likely leak and get water in them

    Yes I figured it would be alot easier to take the front end all apart to not damage it during the engine removal. I havent completly decided how Im going to proceed with the engine bay yet. My first project is to move all the wiring harneses into the fender wells and Im going to clean it all up...
