    Personally I wouldn't do anything but long tubes. Shorties are just a cheap bolt on. To get maximum performance I would go long tubes.

    Weld Draglites with tires (all wheels are like new, 4 lug) -(2) 26x10x15 Mickey Thompson ET Drag Slicks (maybe three passes on them if that) They fit on my 88 GT perfectly with quad the quad shocks still on...8" rim.......$300 -(2) G60-15 Mickey Thomson Indy profile rears (50% wear on the tires)...

    I parted out a 88 GT and I have pretty much a complete interior. I also have a set of good doors with PL/PW along with a solid coupe/vert trunk lid.     Trick Flow Intake 5.0L Trickflow Street heat upper and lower intake with SN 95 elbow all black. I had it on my fox and only used it for about 10 track passes and less than 100 street miles. The elbow was not used and is still brand new........$400

    If I recall I think I had to unbolt the engine mounts and raise the motor up to get them in. It wasn't to bad if your handy, not quite as easy as shorties I suppose but they aren't bad.
