    yep, the heat will definently get to it.....if your mechanic drives get the car good & warmed up & then restarts it a few times I bet it will do it for him... sounds like if you replace the starter the problem will be solved.

    Upper torque boxes?

    mine would make clicking noises when I would go over bumps & such, I ripped mine off pretty clean......:( the rearend would sway really bad when I would get on the gas. if you can help it, don't drive it again until you look at it. hopefully it will just be that the control arm bushings...

    :nice: thats good news! mine are welded & reinforced with bolts now...... thats was a real pita but they are very,very solid now.:nice: sounds like it is probably you bushings. some of the cheaper urethane bushing are really crappy, so if you replace them...get some good ones.

    what you are describing is exactly what my car felt & sounded like last year......turned out, I had ripped the upper dr/side torque box clean off the car! fixing it was alot of fun....:rolleyes:

    I don't think so. is the ECM trowing any codes? if an 02sensor was bad you would get a code.

    IMO narrow bands are pretty much worthless. are your A/F's good while driving? if so, I wouldn't worry about. I would definently invest in a good wideband though, so you always know exactly what is going on with the a/f ratio's. just my .02 is 55lb idle with the vac line unplugged? is...
