    mustang louvers

hanks guys. Cool wheels, now that you mention it I do remember that they were quite heavy. :rlaugh: I think I use the term aluminum incorrectly. Either way I would be interested if you could shoot some pics. WRAITHII thanks for the heads up. :nice:

    Bumper question

I just peeled my urethane off the cast-in reinforcement, and would suggest that you leave well enough alone. A couple of bumps won't match the heartache that you will find underneath that plastic. In short I am now looking for a whole new bumper (rebar and covering). I am seriously considering...

    mustang louvers

I called MAS and they only have the ABS ones. They were $149 I think and were the style as shown in the flyer, under the window trim and hinged on top. Seemed like a good deal and I will probably pick some up when I get closer to the end of the mini-resto. But I would still prefer aluminum if...

    mustang louvers

Resurrecting an old thread = Louvers What became of this prototype? Also, I had a 78 Cobra back in1980 and it had aluminum louvers that just slipped under the window trim for mounting. With the top bar having hinges and the two side bars having plastic locks. Does anyone have this type now? If...

    Need carpet and window seals

OK, just to revive this thread and ask another Q? What are some good US suppliers, with websites? Best bets for a full weather seal hit for a 78 t-top? e-bay? It's time to get going on this again and want to start sourcing parts. And BTW I will be going back to the Mustang Shop in Calgary...

how to delete rear bumper bolts?

Well, looks like I will have to address mine before I can get it on the road. I'll take pictures as I go. Hopefully I can salvage what I have. Can I get suggestions from all on how to reattach the urethane to a newly blasted and painted bumper. Glue? were there brackets originally?

Yeah, my clutch is pretty hard as well. Geal, what type of clutch did you install? If there are no slipping probs I would be looking for that for my II.

    Wheels: Almost There!

Thanks Folly I just propped them up infrom of the others for the pic. I am not sure if they have slow leaks cause three were flat when I got them. Looks like they will make a big difference. It was killing me all day at work cause the place I work blocks any files from places like photobucket...

    Wheels: Almost There!

I'm having trouble posting pics. The car is light brown (Chamois). There should be some pics on StangNet somewhere. The rims I bought are aluminum finish. I'll be posting more when they arrive.

    Wheels: Almost There!

I have the same rims as yours.:nice: I was wondering if they were bead blasted or any thing before powdercoaring? Did the shop say how they were prepped?

    Wheels: Almost There!

Folly, the rims look great. Did you mention in the previous thread what the prep involved was for the powdercoating? I bought some off ebay a while back and they will be here any day. I am debating powdercoat vs. polished aluminum finish. Either way I am sure you are happy with the way they...
