    Thanks, Mike. I referenced the FRPP 2300K instructions; I removed the lower shock bolt, moved the shock out of the way, drilled and tapped a hole, and installed the line. I already have my swap finished, I just need to bleed the fronts. I can't wait to try out the new brakes and a fresh Trac-Loc.

    I don't know how the project car was done, but you can add a flattener to clearcoat. When I worked at a Ford body shop and we had to paint XL truck bumpers, we'd shoot basecoat and then sprayed flattened clear. Straight basecoat will not hold up long by itself.

    93 Cobra Booster Questions

    I installed a new '93 Cobra booster when my engine was out last year because of the ease of installation. I drove around for a few months with stock brakes and it felt great without any problems. Sounds like there might be a problem with your particular booster. Sorry, I'm no brake expert.

    I really like the stock box and tube. Wayyyy better than the CAI that was already on the car. I traded my CAI for the stock stuff from a buddy. Cleaned it up and put on a new Motorcraft decal. BTW, a few months ago Ford had new OEM distributor covers; I paid around $15 from my local dealer.

    How did you guys even get in contact with Ed Curtis? I tried to get a cam from him last year and never did get a response. I filled out cam order form and e-mailed several times over a month's period. Never heard a peep.

    Don't even consider any other header than the FRPP shorties for P heads. I picked up a set with 500 miles on them for $150. The quality and fit are great along without burning my plug wires.

    Haha, it took me this long to notice that you live in Montoursville. I have family there; I grew up near Lock Haven and later on moved to State College. Anyway, I'm glad this topic came up because I've been putting it off to see about better insurance.
