    Who Needs Drag Radials....

I'm thinking when I put the cheater slicks on it will go high 1.60's and hopefully dip into the 12.20's

    Who Needs Drag Radials....

....when you can cut a 1.795 60' on street tires . NTR was hooking good last night and the air was cool and crisp. If somebody told me my car was capable of running 12.40's with street tires a few years ago I would of laughed. Tires are Firestone Firehawk 255/50-15 on Weld 15x8 Draglites...

    Worst Garage pics

I do garage doors for a living. None of you guys are even close to some of the nightmares that I've seen in people's garages.

First trip to the strip in 5 years

Exactly lol. Anymore of that crap and I'll take another 5 year hiatus from there. Too bad Norwalk is a couple hour drive for me....that place is NICE.

First trip to the strip in 5 years

Yeah...I've been slacking lol. I was happy with the way the car ran, but unhappy with the track. I waited at the front of the tech line for 20 minutes while everybody just pulling in behind me was checked right through. I didn't mind at first...but started to get a bit impatient. Then, after I...

    hard pull miss

I did a tune up to my car way back when it was stock and had a problem like this. Car had a noticeable surge while under hard acceleration. Turns out it was a cheap cap and rotor from Auto Zone. I put Ford pieces back on and the problem went away.

how to lift an engine with aluminum heads

I could see where the ratchet ties would make it difficult to angle it down in if you had to...like if there's a tranny going in with it. Otherwise it looks like it would be nice and stable.

how to lift an engine with aluminum heads

+1 for the intake plate. Very simple and easy. I was a little worried about it handling the weight being bolted to aluminum intake and heads, but even with a steel blowproof bellhousing and a TKO 500 hanging behind it, it held with no problems.

Torque Boxes on a Fox Install

Do you mean torque box reinforcements or new torque boxes? If you need new torque boxes...you're in for a treat! You're going to have to remove the rear seats and carpet, rear axle and control arms, and the fuel lines as well. Best thing to have would probably be an assortment of powerful air...

    Nitrous setup suggestions

Basically fuel can/will puddle in the upper intake, but it shouldn't ignite because the intake itself shouldn't be hot enough. But if something hiccups, backfires, or goes wrong....it goes wrong badly lol. I've debated running a dry shot, but now with my 4.10 gears I'd be out of revs in 4th.

    Nitrous setup suggestions

Go about 2 heat ranges colder on the spark plugs as well. Be careful running a wet shot through the upper intake, I've seen them puddle fuel in there which makes for a pretty good show :D

    Spot whats wrong

I totally see the problem. He spent $300 on an aluminum driveshaft instead of $100 on subframe connectors!

She's whipped back into shape again (pics)

Got some 255/60-15's mounted replacing the 265/50-15's that were mounted before. This way I can keep my 21 tooth speedo gear with the 4.10's rather than switching to a 23 tooth....which always get's stripped. They fill in the fenderwell better and give the car a different stance. I don't have...

what can cause low fuel pressure 88 5.0

Look for kinks or holes in the fuel lines. Also try replacing the fuel pressure regulator located on the fuel rail.

Gotta love 68-degree road course track days in Feb :D

$150 for a track day ain't bad. Mid-Ohio is $195 for a motorcycle track day...I imagine about the same for cars. Don't even get me started on racing competitively though. Entrance fee, race fee, tires, hotel (if cold), food, and then gas for a generator, motorcycle, AND truck....I'm glad I only...

Ugly gash in TFS intake manifold

Yeah no doubt...a severed fuel line is #1 on the list of things you DON'T want to happen.

    Prelube engine question

You and these holes lmao. Looks like it's earned you a CT! 20mm x 1.5 drain plug at Advance Auto parts. My sensor started leaking so I run the plug in the car. Good luck!
