    i have an 89 auto tranny, with no torque converter, and i wonder if i use my torque converter from my 92 tranny if it will work on my car. just going to do a direct swap, except the 89's torque converter broke, so i got it for free, and my 92 tranny is slipping gears badly any help...

    there is a guy i know in san marcos, that owns a 93 5speed, with an 86 svo block in it. he said he blew the bearing in the turbo, so he stuck the cast iron exhaust manifold on the block, then ran a stock intake on it, and he says he pulls mid 15's n/a....i havent quite had the chance to race him...
