    Should I get 58 or 64cc GT-40x heads?

You mean 290hp at the wheels right. I hope so, because I'm pushing 310-315 at the flywheel with my stock, unported gt40 iron heads.

    Should I get 58 or 64cc GT-40x heads?

Nevermind that post. I can get a set of Edelbrock performers for a $100 more. Has anyone seen this setup before and how well would it work? Edelbrock performer 60379 heads Cobra upper lower intake (lower ported) crane 2031 cam w/1.7 rr

    Should I get 58 or 64cc GT-40x heads?

Hi guys, I tried looking up as much info as I could about this, but I couldn't get a definate answer. Hopefully you can help me out. Anyway, I can get a really good deal on GT-40x aluminum heads with either the 58or 64cc combustion chambers. I know they aren't the best flowing heads out...

weird problem hopefully someone can help

It could be the stator (hall effect sensor) in the distributor. These are known to go bad on the 94-95's. If you can't figure anything else out, try getting a remanufacured dizzy to replace the old one. You could just try an replace the sensor and see what happens, but it's a pain in the butt.

    want to purchase pulleys

I have the Mac u/d pullies. My volt meter would show a drain, but never get below a certain point. It made my headlights dim while idling, but I never had stalling or a dead battery. Before I got my tune at the beginning of this Summer my car was getting close to overheating while sitting in...

Which heads and intake would work well with my cam Crane 2031?

If you don't mind me asking, why are you selling? What cam did you run? I'm guessing custom with those kind of #'s.

Which heads and intake would work well with my cam Crane 2031?

Thanks Grady, I know there are some good combos out there with this cam. Apparently no one read my second comment about knowing not to chose a cam before heads. You guys aren't telling me anything I don't already know, but thanks for repeating it over and over again.:nonono:

Which heads and intake would work well with my cam Crane 2031?

I was planning on going with a 6-8 psi blower in the future, upgrading the fuel system, and then just being done with it. That's why I wasn't concerned with the head choice. I knew this cam works well with blown applications. That's why I chose it. I know and completely understand why your...

Which heads and intake would work well with my cam Crane 2031?

Hey guys, I'm still pondering the possibility of moving up to a better set of heads and intake in the future vs. going the vortech blower route. I currently have a Crane 2031 cam with the stock cobra heads and intake with no port work. Is there a brand of heads that will work better with my cam...

    size for 95 cobra rims

I'm not sure, but I was able to get 275/40/17's on my stock rims in the rear. I don't know if that's any help to you, sorry. I know the Cobra's came with 255's on all four corners, and the GT's came with 245's, but I don't know if that's because of a wider wheel or not.

What do bad o2 sensors do?

Why not just clean the old MAF? They get dirty, but rarely go bad. Would've saved a lot of money.

Can't get the rubber coupling on 75mm throttle body

Throw it in the microwave for 10-15 sec, maybe a bit longer. It will make it more pliable. Don't put it in too long, or you'll have one heck of a mess.

    2nd Mishimoto radiator leaking

I developed a leak in my Mishimoto after a few months too. It was actually coming from the driver's side. I have subframes, but they aren't full length, plus I have a vert, which means more chassis flex. Instead of returning the radiator and having it happen all over again, I used Barr's liquid...

    got re-dynoed

Good numbers! :nice: I just got 265rwhp and 306 torque with a Crane 2031 cam. This was after the car was nice and hot after 11 runs on a fairly conservative dyno from what the tuner said.

    Dyno disappointment!!

Wow, your situation sounds like deja vu to mine. I just had a cam installed in my car and I wanted the same shop to dyno tune it when they were done. It turns out, they tried to manually tune the car by twisting the dizzy and smashing the stock fuel pressure regulator to get more pressure. (You...

why does my car have vtec?

Have you cleaned your MAF sensor lately? I know this is brought up a lot, but it sounds like symptoms of a dirty MAF element. My car would be fine at half throttle, but as soon as I hammered it, it would feel like it was holding back bigtime. The car also stalled at stops from time to time...

Check out this show car that came into my work!

Wow, I just threw up in my mouth. That reminds me of the guys who put $3,000 rims, and a $1500 stereo on a $900 car. And then put a wing on it that looks like a NASA satellite. He can probably pick up channels from overseas with that thing.

    when shifting rpm,s jump

Did you do anything recently to the car?(Any mods or repairs) When you say it doesn't do it when it's cold, do you mean when the engine is cold or when it's cold outside? From what it sounds like, it's only doing it when the car is in closed loop.

Can someone help me out with my 1994 Mustang GT

I just used rubbing alchohol on mine. It's great because it isn't too harsh and it dries quickly. You will either need a special torx bit to remove the MAF sensor from the housing or you can chissle out the middle peg and use a regular torx bit like I did. Be careful if you chose option 2!

    Weird stumble

Not to scare you, but my car did that a few times before my stator (PIP sensor) in the distributor went bad. It only happened to me when I was at a fairly constant speed like 60mph. I would feel the car hicupp a bit like it missed spark for a split second and then it would be fine. Are any...
