    I agree with 666 on keeping the brakes warm for optimum performance & dryness. BTW, Eric: how long have you been running those front brakes? Could it be that the pads are glazed or due for replacement?

    LOL, down here most cars are equipped with rain sensors that not only govern the max speed at 25 mph, but they also put on the 4-way flashers (but only while car is in motion with the headlights off).

    what were the circumstances? I was caught in the rain not long ago with my 67, and after I turned onto my home street I drove through a puddle (on purpose), then slammed on the brakes just to see what would happen, and mine worked fine.
