    Looking for a crate motor

    I looked at that motor when mine crapped out. After doing allot of research, I noticed many people were not happy with the horsepower they ended up with after installing it. I decided to have my block rebuilt and get new H/C/I. It was a little cheaper also.

    Mine would not mount to the header either. I bent the bracket off and wire tired it to the transmission dip stick tube. No visual obstructions of the headers. stock Mine

    Who makes FRPP headers?

    I am pleased with my BBK ones. Even after heating and beating them to make steering arm clearance, they still look nice. They have been on for a little over a year and a half.

    BUYER BEWARE!!! Radiator at Autozone

    I bought one at advanced auto and started leaking a month after the warranty was up. I got a 3 core one off ebay for about the same price, it has been great.

    do you fox guys have fire extinguishers mounted?

    I have one in my hatch but not mounted, just velcro to the carpet. I don't remember what I paid for it, I think it was around $15 at walmart. I keep one in all my cars.

    The drop was smaller than I remember, here is the before and after: Failure HC - reading (257) limit (220) fail CO - reading (.24) limit (1.20) pass CO2 - 10.76 After timing adjusted HC: 139 (smog pump still disconnected) CO: .11 CO2: 11.02 Since the last test I have hooked the smog...

    I failed also this year, HCs were to high. I bumped my timing back to stock, it dropped the HCs a few hundred and passed.
