    Need 60ft help

The track you race at may not be prepping the surface very well either. When you walk on the surface, it should be trying to pull your shoes off if they are doing their job.

    how tall is it?

I think the snout/pulley on the Eaton sc will hit a stock GT hood. You could cut the bracing on the underside and possibly get it to fit without cutting a hole all the way through. Or a 2 1/2" cowl type hood would work.

    Need 60ft help

JayC is making about the same power as the OP and he runs 28" slicks with 4.10's. It is working great for him. He recently ran an 11.33 @ 123 mph!

best idea yet....and keep the 4.10 gears.

    Need 60ft help

I agree with the springs, but there are plenty of cars with more power and gear than his and they hook fine. For the rpm band his motor is built for, dropping down a gear would hurt more than help. For a budget coil spring, you could get a set of 4 cylinder foxbody springs. They work quite...

    Need 60ft help

What rpm are you launching at? Are you just dropping the clutch or slipping it out a bit? You might try putting in some smaller jets and get the car to work with a little less power and then work your way back up.

Building Motor to handle 200 shot???

Yes, but next week I will be putting my 3rd one in it too! Haha! If you drive it hard enough, sooner or later its going to break something. I do powershift on and off the bottle.

Building Motor to handle 200 shot???

For a 200 shot, I would plan on using a direct port nitrous kit to minimize the risk of fuel puddling in the intake. I would not even risk trying a 200 shot with a wet kit and definately not with a dry kit. Also, a progressive controller will help a ton with traction, you can control how much...

    A few new parts!

Nice parts! I have the same window switch in the same location! If you do make it to a 1/4 mile track, you will run out of rpm with that tire/gear combo. It will work great for 1/8 mile, when it hooks! Lol! Hell, i am turning 6200 with my 4.10's and 27" tall tires.

Went to the track last night

Not bad at all! Especially on street tires! If you really want come run in OK, you should do it on October 23rd in Tulsa. We are having our 3rd annual Modular vs Pushrod Ford powered shootout. It is always a good time and the track here hooks very well when they prep it for an event.

    Another Intake Victim

I think if mine ever goes, I will go with this intake instead... Home Overall, it will be an easier and possibly cheaper installation. Plus it won't kill your lowend tq off the bottle like the Vic Jr will.

Just Got Back from the Track; Kinda Disappointed

YOur tire psi may have had something to do with your mph not going up. Goind from 35 to 18 is a big drop and adds alot of rolling resistance. I try to run as much pressure as I can and still hook. With my ET street radials, my best results came from using 22 psi.

ZEX 150 shot on stock fuel pump

The focus pump will basically drop right in. Some people will drill small holes in the bottom/sides of the basket to keep it from getting sucked dry. I didn't do it to mine and have had no problems. Not sure if the Walbro is plug n play or not. If you do swap pumps, I recommend you get a...

Worth putting Long Tubes on supercharged motor for...

For the money, I would just go with MAC's. The added hp that you "might" get from Kooks lt's will not be worth the extra money. I just have a cheap set of Flowtech's on mine. I got them lightly used with the x pipe for $200, so I couldn't really turn it down!

    race star wheel pictures

I like the wheels, but not so much on the new hood. But I'm sure it will look alot better once painted. Either way, I'm curious to see what she runs next time out with the new lighter setup! Good luck!
