Power Adder guys...Thinking about joining you

I use a Focus SVT pump. It is typically good to around 400 rwhp. Thats the pump that MPH used in their Vortech SC Mongoose kits. You could also use a Walbro 255. Stock injectors are all you need. The extra fuel comes from the nozzle on a wet kit. On a dry kit, you would want bigger...

4.10's here as well. With traction, 4.10's + nitrous is an awesome feeling! I have been using a 27" tall tire and it puts me just over 6k rpm at the finish line.

    28inch diameter MTs ET Streets

I think with stock rear springs, you should be alright. Mine is lowered 1 1/2", and with 27x11.5 Hoosier Quick Time Pro's, it rubbed slightly. The Hoosier's are actually 10" wide. The 28x11.5 MT ET street is listed at 8.6" wide. With both of those tires mounted on a 15x8 rim with a 5.5"...

Power Adder guys...Thinking about joining you

Generally speaking, the cause of this type of backfire is from activating the nitrous system below 3k rpm. Below 3k rpm, the air velocity through the intake manifold is not ideal for a wet kit. Thats where having an rpm window switch comes into play. I set mine to turn on the nitrous at 3k...

Nothing wrong with the NX plate kit. It is a very good kit. However, you could go with a Harris Speedworks plate kit and save a little money. HSW kits, IMO, are just as good as NX kits. I have been using an HSW nozzle kit for almost 3 years now without any problems. As for suggestions on...

    drag racers....goals for 2011

Is it an NHRA sanctioned track that you race at? Ours switched from IHRA to NHRA this past season and it didn't really effect the street cars much. By street cars, I mean 10.99 and slower typically. Ryan, with this cool air, trapping 110+ shouldn't be any problem with the 125 shot...

    drag racers....goals for 2011

For all of you guys who like to drag race, what are your goals for 2011? My goal is to make a run at a 10.9x timeslip. Not gonna change much power wise. I'm thinking more along the lines of suspension upgrades and weight reduction. Right now my race weight is 3450 lbs. I'd like to get it...

    tr3650 backup light switch

Not necessarily cheap, but here's a good Mustang specific salvage that has some for sale. Transmissions Otherwise, take a look on eBay and check any local Mustang forums classifieds. You never know, I found one that just needed reassembled for $100 a couple months back. Works like a charm!

^ Agreed. Save yourself some money and do it yourself. You could possibly find the part at a salvage yard as well.

    O/R X or O/R prochamber?

Ok, that is your opinion. I would agree with you except I have a stack of timeslips to show a consistent 1-2 mph difference after the swap. But you don't have to believe me, I'm a noob when it comes to making passes at the track. :D

    O/R X or O/R prochamber?

Once again, its not always about peak hp/tq #'s. Just because an X may not show the gains on a dyno sheet, does not mean it isn't so. Track #'s > dyno #'s. If you don't race your car and are mainly concerned with sound, by all means the prochamber sounds better, but if your like me and the OP...

    O/R X or O/R prochamber?

Maybe dyno #'s won't show any difference, but my car picked up 1-2 mph at the track when I switched from a pc to an x. If you have ever looked inside the pc, you will notice the exit pipes are not flush with the box/chamber. This will create unwanted back pressure. They may not all be...

    O/R X or O/R prochamber?

My two cents, the pc sounds better but my car actually picked up a little mph at the track when i switched to an x.
