    Parts came today! yay! (pics) Got a question or two.

    I Order the MR.Gasket copper gaskets. Are those ok to use. Also I order the stage 8 locking header bolts that are 1 inch in length, are those ok also?

    Oh yeah, when you remove the panel, there are 3 9mm nuts holding it on.

    Yes, I did mine on the weekend. You have to remove the rear lower interior panel. There ar about 4 push clips, plus you have to remove the seat belt bolts. It is a PITA.

    Yeah, Ive been painting cars and doing bodywork for the last 8 years now. I figured since the car is in the shop for an insurance claim on the 1/4 panel and the door, why not paint the hood and give the whole thing a new coat of paint.

    I baked it to cure the clearcoat. After say a 1/2 hour bake you can handle the part and install it on the car.

    exhaust setup question

    I just got my BBK LTs and x pipe in this week. It does come with gaskets and bolts, but I went ahead and ordered MR. Gasket copper gaskets and 02 extenders and stage 8 locking bolts. I dunno about the LTs cooking the alt. I sure hope not.

    To get the mold release agents out the shop would have to bake it in the booth for about 1/2 hour. The wash with warm soapy water and scuff it with a scotch brite pad and some blend prep. wash and clean again in warm soapy water and degrease. and its ready for sealer and base and then clear coat.
