    Check your fuel pressure while running and while driving. If it is a dual tank F-150 try switching tanks and see if that helps. If it does then suspect a fuel pump or FDM. Also check for vacuum to the fuel pressure regulator. Bad EGR or connector will do the symptoms you describe as well.

    Did you give him the heads off your car or did they change the springs with the heads on the car? Spacers have nothing to do with your car running poorly. They just do them to shim up the springs for closing pressure.

    Did you have the intake milled when the heads were milled? The reason I ask is when you take a lot off the heads it causes the intake to sit higher on the block and it won't seal as well against the heads and it could cause a intake leak thus causing a lean condition.

    Your heads were milled on a broach head miller which leaves the lines you describe. They are known to leak n20 with that method. You need to have the heads milled on a CBN head miller for a nice flat surface. If that is not available then an old belt miller will do but it won't look as nice.

    Take all of the bolts out of the heads and crank the car over a bit. The compression will pop the heads off the block. Make sure to pull the fuel pump relay so you don't have fuel dumping out everywhere.

    sounds like you have bad ball joints. when they dry out they lose all of the grease and start locking up.
