    Hurst Shifter Help?!?!? 99-04

You might be able to find a knock-off shift boot to fit your application off of Ebay, but that's a crap shoot at best. Pepboys seem to have an assortment of aftermarket shift-boots. When my short-throw shifter was installed; the little metal ring had to be removed for the boot to be reused.

Shaker system, as in a Mach 1. Unless you have a Cobra upper intake then it won't fit. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Mach 1 Hesitates At Lower Rpms

Try changing fuel to a higher octane; do your COPs look ok, might wanna' Ohm test the Coil on Plugs. Fuel filter could be clogged. Any extra blow by going into the Intake? Think Fuel, Fire, and or, Air.

    Rear Seat Delete Question.

Put the bottle in the trunk man. Unless you buy all of the safety equipment to monitor and release the pressures when the bottle gets hot. Saw a bottle explode on television the other day, fricken' missle!!! Enough ta' decapitate a human being!!!

Engine Build Questions (2v To 4v)

What I'm saying is the computer needs to be changed. I think every GT owner has had that thought, but as it is, not pragmatic for someone to do in the driveway. Rather buy a Mach or Cobra, less heart-ache. My .02

Engine Build Questions (2v To 4v)

Don't think its that simple. From what I understand you need an engine harness as well. Plus all of the accessories. The 4 valve heads have a different intake so that means the sensors are in different places, the 4 valve have some extra sensors such as the Knock sensor in the valley of the...

Engine Shop Cant Find Misfire Problem

In for result. I had a lean condition CEL, what it turned out to be was unmetered air through the cold air intake coupler. I had pushed the coupler to far in and it created some weird turbulence around the two couplers. Sensitive little bugger, it was. Took me a while to figure such a silly...

    New '99 Gt Convertible Owner

Upgrading the air-intakes on these cars will cause loss of torque or a major redirection of. In my honest opinion those are not power adders, more of making the car more efficient of a controlled detonation. With these engines if your goal is power, nitrous and or some type of forced air...

Progress Thread New To Me 96 Gt And A Couple Of Questions

Gearbanger seems to be in a weird mood, for me these days. Yea dude, wouldn't kill ya' to use a comma or period or two, makes your post a little easier to read without having to start over, losing one's place in your paragraph. The good things about these cars is, the simplicity compared to...

    Need Spoiler Advice

Keep it without the spoiler, our cars don't fast enough to make a wing practical. Those windows are there precisely for blind spots. Fashion versus being pragmatic. Besides looks so much cleaner without it.
