    S.D. dudes, The Q ?

I'm new to this, but me and a guy I work with will be out there next Friday. This will only be my 2nd time to the track. 1st time was to Carlsbad; best 60 ft was 2.25; and 1/8 was 9.46 @ 76.65. Do you guys who have raced at both Carlsbad and the Q find the traction to be better or worse at...

    No header for the FMX??

Doug's Headers (Doug Thorley) in California makes them for the Cleveland, it doesn't specify if they're for the c4, c6, or FMX. http://www.dougsheaders.com/online_store/product_list.cfm?int_subcat_id=8&p=Mustang

How much can an aluminum driveshaft take?

Thanks for all the replies. I'll be giving Inland Empire a call, they're not too far away since I'm in Oceanside. And thanks for posting what type of torque and HP you've seen aluminum driveshafts handle, I doubt if I'll ever be over 350 rwhp so it appears that I shouldn't have a problem. Lance

How much can an aluminum driveshaft take?

I was considering going to an aluminum driveshaft when I convert the tranny to a 3550; since I'd have to have the driveshaft shortened anyway. First, is this a worthwhile upgrade? 2nd, how much hp/torque can an aluminum driveshaft handle. I've got a 351 Cleveland, currently at 266 rwhp and 327...

    Eleanor's Color On A '70 Mach?

I just bought my 70 mach a few months ago, one of the previous owners had it painted grey with the black hood stripe. It looks good, but I'll be getting it painted red/black stripe eventually. Here's a link to the PO's website and you can see the pics...

    Shop locations (So Cal)

Hilltop mustang in Escondido specializes in classic mustangs and they seem to have a knowledgeable staff and very fair prices. Warner Muffler's in Oceanside specializes in all exhaust systems, but seem to have higher prices. Lance

Quite Performance Exaust ? which one is the best.

I remembered this being posted on VMF a few months ago, so I cut and pasted. Hope this helps: This test was performed by 5.0 Mustang & Super Fords Magazine, December 2002 issue (page 55) on a '90 Mustang LX coupe with 370hp and 11 second potential. 66 pulls were made for this comparison...

1970 351C Dyno Numbers (you should all be interested in this)

In reply to the ?'s you emailed me: I had them shut it down at 5300 RPM's - That was my first time to the dyno and I was getting nervous. It's a 2 1/2" exhaust with Turbo mufflers. I don't have the print-out with me, I don't know what type of dyno machine it was. My first pull was only 177...

1970 351C Dyno Numbers (you should all be interested in this)

anyone getting rid of a C4 tranny in S.D. Ca.?

I'll be switching to a t-5 in about 2 months. I know you're buddy probably doesn't want to wait that long, but if he does I currently have an FMX that was rebuilt about 5k miles ago. Email me if you're interested, I'm in Oceanside.
