    Drumming up ideas!

    so you mean that if i could find a 1976 granada with the 8" rear all i have to do is pull the the axles, press on the II's bearing retainers and just throw them in? i guess i'd also use the granada's drums? i would'nt have to swap out the backing plates? then i would have five lugs:nice: sweet...

    1984 turbo mustang

    has any one out there checked out the new modified mustang magazine? it has a real nice turbo'ed 84 GT with a 4 cyl svo motor in it putting out 418 rw hp.:nice: saaawwwweeeeeeeeeeetttt

    spring length?

    as i stated earlier i plan on using the car in SOLO 2 events. in racing conditions the 800 lber's are really on the soft side for a v8 car. i drive a 1987 in the SCCA and in that car i use 900 lb front springs, in racing the car feels just right, and that car is a 4cyl.

    i would imagine that i could have the stock ECU custom tuned for it to see that there has been a turbo added to the motor. not sure yet. tearing into these 2.3 motors is pretty easy. as i have stated earlier i race in the SCCA with a 2.3 and it's in a 1987 mustang that has the stock speed...

    well the reason i'm asking is because i do have a bunch of turbo parts that i have been collecting and they are the pistons with rods in great shape, the stock turbo with the manifold that has been cleaned up and just ported and i do know how to port the stock dual plug head to improve the air...

    could you put the pistons from a turbo block into the block of a 91-93? and maybe use the style header that stinger has with the external blow off valve? just a thought.
