Pypes Muffler Delete Too Loud on Highway

What speed/RPM are you cruising at? I've taken long trips with my Pypes MDs and even my girlfriend didn't complain. I notice around 2000rpm it does resonate a bit but it isn't bad and avoe that it quiets down on my car.

    Brake Upgrade Options??

"Improved discs" don't offer anything other than improved looks. A pad change, brake bleed and lines would be more cost effective and work the same or better. Cross drilled and/or slotted rotors are not needed.

Will the GT500 OEM shock tower brace fit a GT?

Those are the same places it touches on my hood insulation too. I don't really notice too much bulging from the hood on my 06.

    Stock Brakes and Tracking

Did you have the traction control on that they wore down like that in the back? Anyway, I think I'm going to run Hawk HP+ for the street then step up to Hawk Blues for the track and just swap rotors. I just picked up the Hawk line so I get good pricing on them and it's not like they are bad...

Moto Blue UDP's, anyone using these?

Hmm, Stafford. That's about a 20 minute drive for me. I wonder if they have a store front if I chose to go pick something up.

Would it be too rice to have two different design wheels on a stang?

I think you are confusing actual people from doing this with SEMA show cars that sit in a wheel/tire booth.

    Stock Brakes and Tracking

You can do it the same way with a bottle bleeder. I used a vacuum bleeder as you can do it by yourself but I've also heard that those can also leave bubble in the lines and supposedly aren't good for abs, so be warned.

    Stock Brakes and Tracking

I was going to talk to you more about your brakes. I totally went through my front Porterfield R-4Ss on Sunday last weekend. I'm upgrading soon to better pads. I used Ate Super Blue for that event and didn't experience any fading like I had with the stock fluid, though. My bias was getting...

    Steeda lightweight radiator support

I was told on another board that if you plan on tracking the car(I do HPDEs), it's best to stay with the stock rad support because it's beefier. I believe it was Sam Strano that said that.

    Premium Fuel

I typically use 87 but sometimes it just runs like poo, maybe bad gas or the ethanol in it or something but when that happens I mix in 89 and everything is fine. When I do track events I go with 89 to prevent detonation since I'm running higher temps and putting more stress on things. I plan...

Strut-Tower brace for 07 GT - Plenum Cover

Mine touches the hood blanket, but it's not bad. I'm not sure about the plenum cover as I don't have one.

Strut-Tower brace for 07 GT - Plenum Cover

The cheapest route is to just get the GT500 strut bar from the dealer, it will run you about $60.

    No Tune CAI's

I have the Granatelli intake. It threw a check engine light when I installed it so needless to say I took it off the car after a week or so. I've been debating on whether to sell it or just get a tuner and run it. Had I known more about it when I bought it I would have got another intake. It...
