I run Porterfield R-4S all around. Low dust and noise on the street but provide good stopping for when I do HPDEs. They do dust quite a bit at the track but that doesn't bother me too much.
Mine starts flapping around 120 or so. Gives me an uneasy feeling and at my last HPDE, I had an instructor ride along and he was getting scared that the hood might fly up. I plan on getting hoodpins soon for piece of mind if anything else.
Just picked up a 2006 GT from my father. He originally bought this as a father/son project that we could work on together but he goes through cars like underwear so I bought it from him for a sweet deal. These were just some quick and dirty pics I took as the weather hasn't been great...
I have the 18x9 ASA mesh wheels that Steeda sells with 275/40 BFG KDW. I have a similar responce. I suprised some people with R-compound tires my last time out at the track. Not sure on how they will wear yet as there is maybe 1K miles on the setup.
