    Proper Oil PSI

Those numbers are great. According to a few engine blue printing books I've read, a high volume oil pump is a misconcieved overkill kind of part. They were originally designed as a replacement on an older engine with worn bearings to get more life out of the engine before needing a rebuild...

70 Mach I fuel line question

My 351C 4V 70 Mach1 never had two fuel lines. My fuel line ran up the driver's side rear frame rail, then out next to the rocker, then back in near the front subframe, through the holes in the torque box, into the front fender well, then up and over the front frame horn and into the engine...

    One year ago . . .

Congratulations on saving such a beautiful animal. We lost our 10.5yr old german shepherd a little over a year ago, and ended up with another femal g/s that was born 3/16 last year. I'm interested in the benefits of COQ10 for pets, we take it ourselves, but don't add it to the dogs food...

    my built 4v 351c is a dog

well, it sounds to me as if you have some opposing wants from this engine... and a bit of a mismatch set up currently. High rpm screamers are tough to get fuel economy out of. I agree, solid cams are most excellent, I've got one custom ground by cam research in colorado for my stroked W, but...

    my built 4v 351c is a dog

if you want fuel economy, you don't want a cleveland, pull it out and go get an efi 302 with all the wiring and stock computer and drop that in there, you'll probably get 18mpg or better. I drove a 70 mach1 with a 4v cleveland and a four speed for years. I built the engine for the street...

Junkyard electric fan recommendations for a 1965 with A/C

I've used a couple different fans from Honda / Acura... they tend to be smaller. I put one on my '90 fox body car just one, and the car never got hot.

429 Mach 72 vert progress pics, not concourse warning

I've always thought when I did a convertible I'd go with a mix of black and white. Black carpet, white seats, dash and door panels would depend on what I had. I've seen a few done this way and I really like the contrast. NOBODY likes be burnt on black seats in the summer!

    05 seats?

Jasonn The seats look great with the race car interior you have going, nice work on the roll cage too. As far as the 2005 seats... they are big and heavy, I'd be concerned about the height being too tall, and the thickness of the seat back possibly being an issue with rear seat passengers...

    Transporter Trucks

You may want to post this question at Uship.com. I've done a run with folks there and been very happy with it. Some people are wanting something for nothing, but you'll get that anywhere.

    Diamond Tucked Interior

Well, that's where I got my nickname, the guys in my auto shop class in highschool started calling me milner after my 70 mach1 35c4v 4spd was more than another guys big block pontiac could handle... I've used it for my ebay username and pretty much all my usernames on boards like this one...

    Diamond Tucked Interior

That interior should have gone into something like a 54 chevy belair, or a 50s F100 truck, I don't know the last time I saw a diamond pattern interior like that. Amazing what some people will do to a car, and a I6 car none the less. Reminds me of the van conversion craze when I was a kid in...

    Diamond Tucked Interior

sounds to me like somebody had some custom interior work done to this car probably in the 70's. I think some of the 71-73 cars had high back buckets with a diamond pattern, they may have put those into your car, and then had other parts done to match. Definitely NOT a stock 67 interior.

Do I sacrifice my first car?

I'm trying to do some of this, but so far, setting up my shop, moving, getting married, and all my other projects have gotten in the way.... so far I've just got an ebay store, and LLC, and a lot of equipment that I'd have bought anyway and now get to write off. I think we all have dreams of...

Thanks for the info guys, I really appreciate it. I've only really "cared" about numbers matching on my boss302... good to know that info about the casting number/vin relationship.

Do I sacrifice my first car?

Sometimes life bites you and you have to cut bait to save your financial future. I've had some tenants that have gone through bankruptcy, you don't want to go there. I sold my first car that I'd built from the ground up in a divorce, along with a lot of other stuff. If you can keep your...
