    Did you use a staight edge to check the intake and he heads to make sure that one or the other is not warped?? Are you still using the factory iron heads or are you using aftermarket aluminum heads??? I would try a good set of Fel-Pro gaskets.

    I have 245/60/14 on the rerar of my '66 coupe and dont have any problems. I dont know what the backspacing is on my wheels though. It's been way too long since I put them on:shrug: Plus I have an old set of Superior wheels and not factory wheels.

    Look up at the block where the starter bolts up and there might be casting numbers there. I will bet that the bendix is not working on the starter. Ford didnt use shims that I ever heard of or saw listed anywhere.

    Sounds(pardon the pun) like a neat idea but I would not want them on a car with a turbo or supercharger due to the valve closing and making backpressure.

    I was lead to beleive that too, and then i someone else said that the glass is specific to t-tops only. I dont know.

    I have a '88 T-Top car and I bought a pair of convertible doors a few years ago to replace the ones on the car. My question is, is the door glass the same from a T-Top car and a convertible or will I have to swap the glass from the old doors to the new doors???
