335 tire for 17x10.5 inch rim

Not that bad really, $150/tire, just expensive if you go through them in 15k miles like I do with these DR's. Insane traction though, Drop the clutch at 4500rpms without tire spin....crazy :owned:

335 tire for 17x10.5 inch rim

Stick with 315's. When I got mine everyone here told me the same. I got Nitto's 555R Drag Radials, but it really depends on what your looking for, they also have just street tires and such as well. http://www.savastire.com/wheels_tires/nitto_tires.htm This is where i got my tires, real...

    Subframes Installed

Where did you have yours put in? I was thinking of just going to a local muffler shop but didn't know if they would do a decent job or if thats what most people use?

    2.2 KB dyno results

the 2.2 is similar to a turbo setup, this is the dream of all 2valvers and the idle setup, but unrealistic to the normal everyday joe. I have to save for like 6 months just to be able to afford the 1.7 6psi non-intercooled kit, this would take me a few years! :flag:

    2.2 KB dyno results

I hope this means that the price on the 1.7's is gonna come down, 1.7 is more than enough for me.. :D

Modified catted X-pipe w/flanged straight pipe

The obvious problem that I would be worried about is keeping it from leaking.. If you could keep it from leaking after swapping it out then it would be fine. Usually cheaper to just buy a stock midpipe from a junkyard or your old one if you have it and swap that in instead.

    AUTO Mustang needs advice

Personally I would wait til you have most of the major bolt ons that your gonna do before u do. I am not too sure the difference it will make on your auto compared to a stick but I am sure the shifting will be improved along with the same improvements on a stick as well. It becomes worth it...

what else do i need with my accufab tb/plenum

Yah, I don't have any experiance with before after sotp or anything, but based on dyno's and proven numbers when going for cost/hp they just dont seem worth it. Cams are debatable, I will do them eventually simply because I will have my family pool up and order them for my b-day in may and I...

what else do i need with my accufab tb/plenum

Pulleys, headers, mid-pipe, catback/mufflers, gears, tires, suspension work, and supercharger are the only truly worthwhile mods.

what else do i need with my accufab tb/plenum

The whole Plenum/TB combo is a waste of money. If money is a concern then you should be using it a little wiser. You will basicly be spending around $100/hp if you go this route and got a CAI as well.. My advice, stick to the effective power mods. Dont waste your time and money on the pretty...

    Tuned Length on the way

hmm, good deal, I guess only time will tell, either way, I'll post up as soon as I find out. :flag: Anyone heard anything about the install on these badboys?

    Tuned Length on the way

They definitly do, if you look at the stock headers, you cant help but understand why you would get some gains. But they definitly dont give as much as LT's. Main reason I went with them is to be able to keep my xpipe and not have to cut it, to me that is worth a few hp.. I'm hoping for 6-10...

    Tuned Length on the way

Just ordered a set of the BBK tuned length shorty headers for my 03 gt. I know alot of people were curious to see the actual gains on these and so am I. I am not going to get a baseline dyno before, but after these I will be getting a dyno tune. I really have no clue what to expect out of her...

    Hey new to 4.6 etc, 2000Gt tips/advice?

God I love that color, nice lookin car man! Anyways, Silencer is the usualy hearsay bs, probly worth 0-.1 hp on a good day, but do it if you want. Same with the k&n, tb, plenum, and that nonsense. Many will say they are good mods but if you dont wanna spend $1000+ for a total of 10 hp then...

Question from a New Stangnet member and New Mustang Owner

Check out the modification thread list on the top of the 4.6 tech forums. Good start is always cat-back exhaust, a higher gear ratio, mid-pipe for you exhaust, then usually starts to change depending on your goals, ie. are you looking for a 400HP beast or just a daily driver that is a little...

Help me understand a custom tune

Here is what I have planned, I decided on a chip brand (SCT), then went to their site and searched for a local dealer. Found one about 50 miles out from my house and called them up. They gave me a quote for 375 for the SCT chip dyno tuned, same price as most mail order SCT's, cept you have no...
