    Kaase Heads

Honestly, after talking to as many people as I could who've actually DONE a 409ish Windsor, the SECOND set of heads many people are running are a "standard"ish aftermarket head that are worked and flowbenched. It seems that people are actually better off buying decent heads and having them...

I need a brake power booster.

Has anybody come up with a good setup for a '65, yet? I've got discs all the way around, and I use a '67 package to pump them. Anything better out there?

    427 Mustangs?

    I didn't. They made more than 10 thunderbolts ;).

    427 Mustangs?

They made about 10 with the 427 sans most every other part of the car. It was strictly for drag racing but HAD to officially be a factory option to make them legal. I THINK (think mind you! :)) they went to the Gas Rhonda team. Could be wrong . . .

    427 Mustangs?

I can't say I've seen one. Part of me wants to say that they either didn't AS A RULE, or it wasn't a "public option", and another part of me wants to say "yeah, they did." If they DID, they're rare. HOWEVER, the 427 WAS on option in '65. LOL! Do some research ;). Some factory coupes...

    '73 Question . . .

Honestly, it's too good for a parts car. I mean, it runs and drives GREAT. Anyone who kills this pony for parts deserves the same treatment! LOL!

    '73 Question . . .

We've decided against it. The "poison pill" was the wheels and tires. They're POS drag tires and skinnies up front. We'd be out as much on wheels and tires as we would the car (almost). Between that and no paint/interior, even WITH straight metal, it's more than we want to go after right now.

    '73 Question . . .

Yeah, I know cowl rot is the pits, but, eh, they make new steel every day. I don't do any of my own work, anyway, so feh. What I want to do is to be able to pickup this car for a REALLY good price and fix it up over time. One of my best friends has had a '73 Mach I (real one) for about 16...

    '73 Question . . .

Got a guy wanting to sell a '73 Grande, 351C-2V automatic, and Lisa and I are thinking about buying it. He wants $2,000 for it. Here's the low-down: Body is STRAIGHT, primered, but not painted. Interior is ROUGH (no dash), but it's there. It would need complete replacement. Here's the...

    The RATTLER Lives! 1966 w/ 17" Bullitts!

Hey, on your brake MC . . . I was thinking about using that setup on my '65 (Grenada front and Versey rear), but you don't seem that impressed. Does it work okay? What about pedal force? Right now, I don't have enough vac off the motor to use what I have effectively. That's why I'm looking...

    funny mustang picture

Proper crash position for a Mustang i.e. utter protection for the passenger compartment with no regard at all for the idiot hitting the horse. Just like God, Lee Iococa and Carrol Shelby intended.

What year 351W rebuilt should I order

It only matters if you are going to hot rod the car. And if you're going to hot rod the car, you probably have your own heads in mind. And if you're REALLY going to hot rod the car to need that Mexican block, you probably want to have an engine built. ;)
