    New Stang, New Mods

Isn't that what i explained in my reply?:shrug:I thought that is what i explained! ;) In city stop and go,traps heat with metal cai's. At the strip, metal cai's will work fine.

    02 gt 351 v8

It's basicaly a fox chassis,so technically yes.I've often thought of doing a pushrod engine these days.Cheaper to build, easy to work on,and really doesn't need a tuner for every mod done. But then the mod motor is a nice engine too. If that is your plan, look for a wrecked '94/'95 GT...

Stopping clear coat on rims from peeling

It's hard to say if it would look good, but it would give better protection from spreading more if you masked, and re cleared that spot. When i had my stock Bullitt rims,i scrapped a curb very lightly with one rim,but enough to scratch the rim edge pretty good, what i did was sanded it down,masked...

    Short Throw Shifter Help!

I use the B&M Ripper.Had it since day one back in '03.Still feels like a new shifter to this day. As for the stops on the shifter with the 3650,as long as it is set up properly, there should be no issues. It's when they are not set up right, the issues begin,so one has to read the instruction ,and...

    New Stang, New Mods

In reality yes,but the metal tubing still gets hot from the engine compartment. That is where most of the heat is coming from, and the intake tube gets "heat soaked".Also the bend from the fender to the MAF has been known to create a little turbulence before the MAF.The right way to have the...

    18's and lowered stang

Agreed, depending on the brand of tire,i've seen 295/35/18's or 305 35/18's,and 305/40/18's,also with a little messaging with the fender lip,315's were fitted out back on a 18X10. I know i plan to go 305/35/18 Nitto Drag radials to replace my sumo II's that are 285/35/18's which really don't...

    New Stang, New Mods

If you are looking at cai's,go with JLT.Stay away from metal style ones, they soak heat big time!Metal ones are fine if your the guy that is dragging at the strip where short blasts are fine which doesn't allow the intake tube to get hot,but in the city with stop, and go traffic, the metal tube...

    How clean is too clean...

Seeing how most of us are clean freaks, how clean is too clean with our stangs? Do you find yourselves constantly making sure everything stays spotless after every cruise,or do you just do it weekly, monthly? I myself always go over my GT after every cruise i do.I try to make the whole season...
