    Interior Fire Wall.

Most of the NHRA legal MII's I've seen don't have an actual full firewall, but a cover that goes over the cell itself. Made out of the NHRA spec aluminum, and on hinges so you can lift it up to access the cell underneath. That's how I've seen them.

    Tie Rods?

There are two different tie outer tie rod ends for the II, a short and a long version. From 74 to mid 77, they used one for power and one for manual (I've never seen a factory manual rack II tho). Starting late 77, they went to one end for all applications. I went through this myself, when I...

Did all 1976 Cobra II's come with T-Tops???

A 76 with a t-top is a quite rare car. The t-top option came out in late 76, and very few cars got them. They were more common on the 77s, but still not too abundant even on 77s. Most t-tops were 78s.

    New Radiator for my II

Her car is TITLED as a 74, but it's not. I went over all the attributes of her car with her a while back, and I feel it's a 75. So it doesn't have the 74 nose and radiator support either. It's a 75-78 bodied car.

    SAL !

Front and rear spoilers are both CDC (Classis Design Concepts). The side stripes are repro Cobra II, made by Phoenix Graphics. I had them omit the "II" and make them extra long for the 05s wheelbase. Hope this helps. :)

    SAL !

I actually don't sell the parts, but I can tell you were to get them. Which parts specifically do you want to know about?

Nice, but I must be missing something....

Really nice clean car. The Cragar's gotta go though, but it's nice to see the 5 lug. I messaged him and told him to drop the "2" off the front of the price and he MIGHT get a bid.

    Air Cleaner help

If you are interested, I have an original 76 Cobra air cleaner assemebly, with all the proper fittings and ports on it. I even have an NOS motorcraft element for it. I'd like to sell them since I no longer have that car, but very few people are looking for OEM parts nowadays. PM me if you are...

gas tank is giving me fits.....

If I remember, the late 77 and 78 tanks had a slightly different shape, and don't fit into the earlier cars. I think the difference is the way the corner is shaped on the one side.

    Mustang II vs. Falcon

Nice cars, too bad they were both pretty slow. And the II lost.

My Mustang II on local Newspaper

Nice job Andre!! Keep up the good work. You car is a fine example of a restored II, one of the best I've seen!

    Need Dash Info

If you do a search, you might get a more accurate answer, as I posted about it before. But I think it was something like 6-8 months before I got all the dash parts.

    Thanks Sal!

Sweet! Looks like they fit perfect!

    Need Dash Info

I am assuming you have the early style dash bezel with the chromed back. You could actually strip all the chrome off, and then respray it semi-flat black, and then you'd have the later style dash. But I'm guessing you have the chromed passengers side as well. The only thing I can suggest is...

    What is this?

    Yep, Charcoal/Carbon vapor canister.

    Thanks Sal!

Did the cat come with the wheels, because I didn't send no cat :). Just double check the spacing on the car when you install them. They were off a Fox body car, but when I checked the spacing on the rim, against the spacing on my 78, they looked like they should fit good. I couldn't bolt them...

    I need your opinions.

Here's my view... Bottom wheels... definitely not. The solid 5 spoke with the simulated bolts is way too 90s for the IIs styling. Doesn't look right at all. Middle wheels... I like them. They have a "classy" look, but fit the car good. But I don't think it's the right look for a fastback...

Did I mention I met a Monroe Handler? Pics

There are a lot of Handler clones out there, because you could have bought the body kits aftermarket for a while. BTW Mego, I love the new sig. I sing Sexual Harrassment Panda all the time and people have no clue what the hell I'm talking about. :)

Did I mention I met a Monroe Handler? Pics

That car has t-tops. The guy selling the Handler for 35k says that his car is the only one built with T-tops. I assume that's the same car.

    Monroe Handler on Ebay!

From what I know, they were all 78s. The original one was built off a 77 car, but I think the other 7 were marketed as 78s from what I recall. I'm not 100% sure though. There doesn't seem to be a lot of Handler info on the net, other then about the original Dave Kent car. One thing that does...
