    I just don't understand, why not do it the right way? You seem to have made up your mind before you asked the question. There's only one to make the repair and not have problems and that is to weld it. You will without a doubt have problems with the adhesive.

    The paint code you seek is Ford C. Honey Gold. Go to Sherwin Williams or any place that sells dupont and they will know what your talking about. Ivy Gold was an interior color for 65.

    If you get a center force from summit it will line up. You also will be much happier with the ease of the pedal.
