    yeah i meant bolts. there should be at least 2 on the bottom of the tranny. it hold a metal plate onto the tranny. if you don't have those out, you can forget about taking the tranny off

    i wasn't aware that 96-98 cars cam without ABS. but regardless it would have been alot easier to just swap out the whole rear section as opposed to all the parts

    what did you do to those gaskets? they are reusable, they're just not easy to line up again. dab some rtv on a couple spots to hold themin place when you're lining them up

    i have 4.10's in my centri car & wouldn't change it at all. i just run 28"s for when i go to the track, no biggie

    it depends on who the manufacturer is....if it's spec just use theirs. they supply a ford one ;) but anyone else, go to ford & get one. if you don't you'll be pulling it out in the future & replacing it with another one i replaced mine with the centerforce one cause i didn't know any beter...

    97 vert stock 1/8???

    everyone's learning curve is very different & the track is MUCH different than the street. so, there's absolutely no way of answering that fwiw, i gained 3 tenths the first time down the track (1/8th) on my last non-pi car when i added 4.10's. the farthest i got it down is 4 tenths total
