    Can't adjust out enough camber...

I never drove it before, it was a drag only car I bought. I don't see any signs of a wreck. The bushings are poly and look good. Thanks for responding!

I need information on t5 swaps

I am going off a failing memory but I think the 6 and 4 cyl. trannies have a smaller input shaft, so you can run it but you have to get the appropriate down sized pilot bearing. I know it is true for the older ones but not positive on the newers but the 4 and 6 cyl. trannies are a good deal weaker.

    head swap question?

Same pushrods you had, if the shortblock is a 302 then that is what you need. Only issue when running 351W heads on a 302 is bolt holes, the 351 has bigger holes, so they make stepped washers to compensate when using smaller head bolts. I think a 302 has 7/16 bolts and a 351 has 1/2 bolts.

    Can't adjust out enough camber...

Hello and thanks in advance! I put 4 cyl springs with a 1/4 of a coil cut out on the front of my 91 LX. I tried to align it myself but could not get it right so I took it to a shop. The best they could do is -2.5 left and -1.2 right. I have new Steeda/QA1 cc plates and monroe struts. Is...

    QA1 Mustang Coil-Over Conversion Kit

SOLD I went a different route. I have a brand new kit that contains: 2-piece upper spring caps with bearings, spring seats, and spring seat washers and wrenches. Convert H-series Mustang struts to coil-over. They include everything you need except struts and springs. Springs are only $37, just...

    trick flow stage 2

Joel, can you explain that to me? I do not understand how lift has nothing to do with clearance... I understand the overlap period is the crucial point for clearance issues but how does a .600" lift cam not come closer than a .300" lift cam? The only reason I didn't buy the TFS Stage 2 cam...

    trick flow stage 2

.542/.563 with a 1.6 so it sounds tight, I am not sure if I would try it w/ 1.7's w/out checking clearance. I don't know the pistons in an 83?

    87-93 dash swap

It is really easy if you swap the harness, otherwise you have to repin the wires and it is still not that bad. As far as looks go, it looks the same as any other mustang as long as you either paint or vinyl a small black strip at the bottom of the windshield. The heating stuff is interchangeable...

What would be a good price?

I am in Millbrook which is about 15 miles North of Montgomery, off exit 181. I was going to restore the car but since the floors were rusty and I found my current ride at such a great deal I decided to part it out. Feel free to PM or email (badride5 at gmail dot com) me if you want details, you...

What would be a good price?

I just need to get my front and rear window trim off and I was going to try and sell the 1/4 glass but can leave it, have a clear title and in the condition you said above, but no front coils (have some you can have), i will take $50 if you come get it and bring some wheels, i will put the front...

    Raced The 89 LX!

Really it depends on you. If you can avoid the balls to the wall attitude, it will survive for a long time but if you drive it like you stole it and chop those numbers down at any cost, you may get a weekend out of the slicks. But more than likely it will blow the clutch if it is stock...

    DIFFERENCES BETWEEN 289 AND 302 ??

Just my opinion but that is perfect already. And if your reasoning is boost then you really need a little stronger setup if the compression matters for the levels that require it.

What would be a good price?

You should be able to find one for around $500 for what you are looking for. I wouldn't pay more than that unless it is fixed up some more than what you listed. I have an 86 and am in bama but the floors are shot and I've took a lot of parts off, if you have the few parts left I need I will...

    Interior opinion question...

I agree with everything above and definitely the carpet first... I think it would also look better without the blue shifter boot imo. By the way, I love the rear heater core option, I thought that only came in suburbans and navigators.

    Raced The 89 LX!

Awesome!!! If you get the sticky tires you will be hooked into the never ending go faster bug, either a little bog or a little clutch slip and you will just have to do a little more... hook, line and sinker! Welcome to the club!

    whats this hose

Do you think it was hooked up before? I wonder if someone set it up to run to a PCV on the valve cover. Where does that hose on the VC go? If your not sure just plug it or get a longer hose and bypass it.

Project StangIt - 91 Mustang LX

Victory! Well, after a bunch of blood, beer and back pain, it's alive! I drove it about 50 miles and it is a beast! The tires break loose thru 4th without trying. Can't wait to get the 2 stages hooked up and some sticky meat! Spent a long time just getting the fender gap where it is now...
