    aluminum flywheel weight savings?

The heavier flywheel has more inertia than the afw therefore it will keep the engine keep the engine internals spinning with less effort. And no one said anything about the tranny.

Well I'm gonna actually have to put whatever I do get into my camaro. I know its a bad thing to say but its the only car I was able to bring with me to Cali so I had to leave the gt at the house in Ga. Who runs Royal Purple Syncromax in their 3650?

shouldn't need it, pretty much all gear lube have the friction modifier in them already so you dont have to worry about mixing it in. if your car requires a friction modifier then you dont have to worry about mixing it and if your car doesn't require it like mine then it wont hurt it either.

    aluminum flywheel weight savings?

with the aluminum fw you dont have the inertia of the heavier stock fw to help keep the crankshaft spinning when you are cruising so you have to give the give the engine more gas pedal to keep it at the same rpm when you switch to an afw therefore you use more gas because of that.

I'm Back! Been Away for a few Years and.........

I would start with cai, catback and midpipe with a tune or tuner. Those will be the cheapest mods to start off with as far as HP and tq. Gears will definately give you a great sotp feeling for such a cheap mod. Then do some suspension work to tighten everything up on the ground.

    Recommendations on motor mounts

Well you can do the k-member as well most aftermarket units allow the use of stock control arms. And as far as mounts I would go with urethane mounts from prothane or energy suspension. Mine has prothane mounts and I feel they were worlds better than the solid mounts that were on my car when I...

    how fast are..

I don't mind some imports cause some people know how to build them. I just hate ricers who put body kits and fart cans on em and then wanna race everyone they see on the street and think they gotta beat u to the next light an 1/8 of a mile down the road.

    how fast are..

Ya as far as the difference between the two is I think the subaru's handle a little better because of the boxer engine sitting flat n low in the chassis. And if anyone has ever been offroad in one they know its fun as hell with the awd.
