Anyone use the 0mm offset bullitt wheels.

I've known about these wheels for awhile but had a question for someone that has a set or is in the know. What I was wondering is if the wheel is like the original bullitt wheel with more meat in the hub, essentially building the spacers into the wheel? If so does it look like the hub could be...

    MediaBlasting

I was wondering the same thing. I noticed while watching either american hot rod or overhaulin they blast first then use a sealer to seal and then do the body work, including patch panels. I'm pretty sure plastic filler is compatible with their sealer they use. Also with the car blasted you can...

    alternator question

Nope. The difference between a 1 and multiple (as little as two) wire setups is how the regulator "ignites" and starts charging. In a one wire setup the regulator self energizes and usually requires a blip of the throttle to energize and start charging. In a multiple wire setup it usually starts...

    alternator question

Its better to stay away from the one wire setups. Here is a write up, http://www.madelectrical.com/electricaltech/onewire-threewire.shtml altough it deals with the delco alt you could use the info for a 3g out of a fox body mustang, which is a cheaper way to go as well but definatly not the...

    A/C not cycling

hey 1969mach1351, your A/C shouldn’t cycle on and off on hot days (as you described before your problem) Now what i am thinking is your a/c system was low to begin with then on a hot day it was too much to deal with. Since its a 91 it probably means that you have r-12 unless it has already been...

Megasquirt - build your own EFI system.

Just built a version 3.0 board this week. It took me about 5 hrs to complete. Pretty simple if you have a little knowledge about soldering and take your time. I recommend only running the MS 1 for right now ( you can update to MS II at a later time with little hassle) because MS II is in its...

Will 02 Rims fit on a stock 96 GT?

Someone correct me if im wrong but I think the newer stang rims are 5.5in backspacing and everyone that runs the 17x8 is running 4.5 so you might need a 1 in spacer to pust the wheel out alittle.

a slight lean on the driver side

I would try replacing the shocks first. I've seen it first hand. My boss showed me up, I told him "no way will that fix the lean the car has". sure enough he was right and I had to pay for lunch that day.... Graham

    voltage problem

Was just pointing out why yours isnt charging until you rev it over 1200rpm. Thanks for the pic though I couldnt remember what the exact printing on the back of the alt.. probably doesnt mater anyways because 351w fastback is probably running a ford alt lol

    voltage problem

hey Shotsy I think the reason your alt doesnt charge its because your missing a wire to your alt. the on on the side currently is going to batt power right? the terminal next to it sould be the field, if you hook that terminal to either a switched 12v source ot hook the alt light. The light...

    voltage problem

Just a guess but depends on how everything is wired, the 130 alt is plenty big enough... If you are pulling the power for your accessories from the fuse box in side the car you are probably close to burning the car down. I'm not sure of the gauge of the wire feeding the fuse box but it’s not...

    Whats wrong with my motor??

An easy way to diagnose a wrist pin or a rod nock is to disable the cylinder. First get engine up to temp and figure out when it makes the noise. Then remove a spark plug wire and try to get it to make the knocking noise. Do each cylinder one at time and try not to get shocked :) when you pull...

Has any one replaced the drip rail molding ?

My Last post is for you 68coupe408. It will tell you how to remove the chrome piece. My problem is the metal that the chrome piece is attached to is rusted through.

Has any one replaced the drip rail molding ?

I think 68coupe408 is talking about the molding or chrome piece. it easy basicly the chrome piece is a U and just snaps into place. Can be taken off with hands or a bottle cap opener. just take your time. Graham

    EFI conversion help!!!

Well this was my take, I love to build stuff like this however it’s totally flexible in what ever you do whether it is a stocker or a wild motor. The EEC4 doesn’t do things like shift light, nitrous control, water injection and boost control among other things. You need a scan tool to diagnose...
