    Absolutely, long tubes are the only headers worth the hassle (or Bassani mid-lengths I guess). I think you can have your x-pipe modified to fit, but I'd ask to be sure. I am thinking about doing a set of MAC long tubes soon.

    05+ have 3 valves per cylinder, 99-04 has 2 valves per cylinder.

    You do most stopping with the fronts, therefore you should get all 4.

    New Car

    The one month wait time for curing is if it's a body shop paint job, not a factory one. The factory does bake it to cure it, which body shops do not. If you are getting black, I wouldn't let the dealership touch it; their mistakes will be very obvious on black.

    Sounds like you have just about everything you need to seriously improve it. It seems like a lot of money, but if you apply Zaino thin, as recommended, a bottle lasts quite a while. I look forward to seeing the after pictures.

    Well, waxing probably did nothing because all it did was go on top of all of the imperfections. You should definitely go over the entire car with a clay bar.     Here are some pics that my dad just took of my car after I had it lowered with Steeda springs and Tokico HP shocks/struts. He's not the greatest photographer but it's all I have for now. Unfortunately, I lowered it and then left for college a month later, and haven't seen it since!

    Hitech stage II cams?

    I've ridden in a car with them. It was an auto with 3.73's, MAC LT's, and a prochamber. Definitely pulled hard above 3000 RPM and didn't really lose anything down low. Also good because they don't require new valve springs.

    Pinnacle. Tech wax isn't too bad but it doesn't look nearly as good as a carnuba wax.

    Start with a two bucket wash, one with soap, the other with just water to continuously clean your wash mitt. Then dry and claybar it. If its swirly, buff it before applying wax. My favorite wax at the moment is Pinnacle Signature Series II.

    Get a buffer and do it right. Trying by hand will take a lot of time and effort and it won't come out as well as it would with a buffer.

    Lowering springs for the 99. CC Plates a have to?

    I can't imagine not aligning it after changing springs. CC plates may not be needed for Steedas, mine didn't need them, but sportlines probably need them, and DEFINITELY need an alignment.

    It may help to clay bar it. It's more work but if you haven't done it recently, it's well worth it. Follow that up with a polish and a wax and it'll amaze you!

    Can't do springs just yet, but shocks....

    I NEED to replace my shocks and struts as they are creaking even under braking, but cannot lower it quite yet. Will Tokico HP's be a good replacement with stock springs until I spend the extra money to lower it? Any other shock ideas? Thanks.
