    Could be a worn gear. IT could be a worn shifter that's causing the problem too.

    Bad syncros or chipped/broken gear teeth will cause it to pop out of gear also a bad/bent shift fork will cause it too.

    If you got a code 11 first and then a 96 as a memory code don't worry. But sometimes a code 41 and 91 will cause the computer to throw a code 96. I have seen when there is a wiring problem in the o2 sensor harness and or the o2 sensors are bad you will get a code 11 41 91 and a memory code 96...

    Have you checked or tighten the header bolts? If this noise gets better as the engine is warm.. i would check for exhaust leaks at the header. I had a header leak that was so bad it sounded like my engine was about to come apart ..turns out i blew one of the header gaskets.

    Adjust the idle to what idle speed you like or 750-800 and let your engine warm up ..then disconnect both battery cables for 30 min then reconnect both cables. Then start the engine and let it idle then drive around for about 20 min then turn your car off for a few mins then start it again...

    Engine Vibration in gas pedal at 2000 rpm

    It could be a bad engine mount or balancer or it could be u-joints. If it just does this at 2000rpm while driving ...but not while in park/neutral ..it could be the u-joints.
