    They still have the northstar and it infact out performs the Mustang powerplants today when speaking in terms of hp and tq vs displacement. 470hp and 440hp from a 4.4 liter supercharged northstar is not to shabby.     I had a C5 and I'm sorry but the interior is not cheap feeling and how you say any mustang pre 05(built on a 25+ year old platform) is more up to date than a C5+ vette is beyond me.

    They run low 14's which is good for a suv of it's size IMO. Has a 390hp/400tq ls2 in it. Dont handle as good as the Jeep SRT but rides better and has more room in it. Gets crappy mileage(15/16mpg hyw) but if your looking at it I'd say your not to concerned with that. No known recalls or problems...

    A compression test will just take a peak cyl pressure rating and a leakdown test will tell if the cyl is actually holding the pressure

    Ok I plan on dumping my exhaust. I am going to get a pair of summit shirties and 2 1/2 inch piping back to about the fron seats then into a pair of mufflers and then dump the exhaust. I have a couple of questions being a noob to the 5.0 crowd. Am I loosing out by not running a X-Pipe setup...
