    Yeah, it takes a day to dry out. I didn't think about that. I bought a K&N the day after I bought my car and kept the stock Fram. When I did the cleaning, I just swapped to the stocker for a day.

    Autozone, Pep, O'Reilly's. They may have one. Probably K&N, but I think if it's the right size, you might as well pick it up and put it on at home. If that doesn't work, you can take it back.

    Yeah, mine is five years old and looks brand new. And any DVD-HU for $300-$350 is a waste of money. Also, I'm sure you'll need to buy a harness, too. Oh, and it's the "Shaker 500" now, if that makes any difference.

    Everything I've read on the subject states that 450hp is the max the stock block can safely handle. I've never seen Roush or Saleen run that kind of power without upgrading almost ALL the major components of the drivetrain. I would keep the psi pretty low until someone with more experience...

    It take some getting used to that big blind spot with the 14's covered, but you get used to it.. Just back out between two cars SLOWLY! (And let the SLP's growl a warning to approaching cars!)

    The ones I got are the "scoop" type...all solid, so you can't see anything. They include pre-cut blackout decals so you don't see anything but black from the inside. Plus, you don't have to delete the windows and risk a leak!
