Just removed all my smof stuff and I got the dreaded CE light. Yupp, it's from blocking the holes in the heads and plugging the EGR. The search engine here helped my find the answer to fix the problem. Supposedly there is a part that is a 10ohm resistor that plugs into the EGR that makes the car...
I have the Borla catback on my 95 and I dont like it because it's not Flowmaster. When the funds become available I'll be selling the catback system for $200. New its $600. Trying to get back to MAC LT's w/pro chamber H and FM catback.
Everyone I hang out with says the Borla sounds good from...
Dont know if Im jumping the gun or not, but do you plan on putting up pics of the install???
Boy RC, you must be the bling king from all the comments Im reading/haaaa. Wade
Just tried to send ya a PM to say congrats. Two magazines now. You must be in stang heaven. Im sure you have put alot of blood sweat and tears into the car and deserve it.
As for the magazine, I like it alot. A little to much audiophile stuff, but they do a little bit of everything in there...
Sweetness!!!! I have a bare block sitting in the garage right now and am planning on a stroker motor. I know I'll probably save a few dollars by just going the crate route, but once,,just once, I want to build my own motor and hear it run.
Just pulled my T5 out last week for a rebuild. No parts fell out. I left the bellhousing/clutch on the car. It has the King Cobra clutch and only has 30k miles on it so I left it alone. $624 dollars later and I'll have a rebuilt tranny. New 2nd and 5th gear,,1-2 shift forks and miscellaneous...
It's fairly straightforward. You can do the A arm thing described above or do it the other way by knocking out the tie rod end from the front suspension. On my 95 I couldn't get them to just drop out. The rears were easy tho. As for the fronts I just let the front suspension hang as far as it...
Long tubes. I put them on my first 95 and the install wasnt to awful bad. The only tough part was routing the dipstick back into the hole. I put MAC LT's and their Pro Chamber H pipe on the car and at idle it really quieted it down, but when getting on it it sounded awesome through the Flowmasters.
Wade here. Nice landscaping. You say party on Labor day??? Sounds like a road trip to me. Only a couple hours away. Got some recent pics for ya, I'll try and email them tonight.
Almost the same problem except my air doesnt turn off. My temps are fine in the city w/air off or on. However, on the highway it immediately jumps to the A-L on the temp gauge until the high temp fan kicks on. Now, this could be two things.
1) 10yr old radiator and water pump
2) I know I have...
Piece of cake. Just follow the instructions 94302vert just gave. However, the real pain in the butt is getting out the pressed in busings for the new upper control arms. Basically, for those you just take a drill and bit and walk the thing in and out alot until you get the thing out in pieces...
Im in the same boat right now. Having a friend of mine rebuild it at his shop. Hooking me up for $150. However, I do have a link w/pics that show the disassembly of the t-loc unit. Gimme a few to find it and i'll post it up.
Anyone wanna sell me the hose that runs from the compressor to the canister on passenger side of engine bay. It's the hose that runs along top/side of motor. The one w/the charge fitting on it. Mine is leaking. Email me a price at [email protected]
