    Wheel Hop..grr.

I also have crazy wheel hop on my car. Ford 9" 3.89,shelby underrider traction bars, 382 RWHP I am having a set of Maier Racing 160lb. Leafs installed. What I have been told is that these leafs are "biased" towards the front and thus prevent axle wrap up that causes wheel hop. I will let...

    WTB, parking light lenses

I am pretty sure that the 64 1/2 cars came with the clear turn signal lenses and used an amber bulb. In 65 they went to an amber lense. When I ordered my clear lenses the catalog referenced them as a 64 1/2. Scott

    WTB, parking light lenses

I am not very adept in regards to posting pics. Here are some pics of the car. http://www.lateral-g.net/members/stites/ I will try to find a better pic with the clear turn signal lenses. The amber just did not work for me with the Grey paint:notnice: FYI..The Banner on the windshield...

    WTB, parking light lenses

FWIW... I elected to put the clear lenses with the amber bulbs in my car as I think they look much cleaner...:nice: (my car is a 65 fastback,gt350R valance, painted Urban grey w/reflex silver stripes) Scott

    Headers in a 66 fastback

Disclaimer: I am not by any means an authority in this area.. My understanding is that the exhaust ports are raised on this particular crate engine and it makes for a very tight fit.....Particularly when using Long Tube headers... I can say for a fact that I have a lot less room than I...

    Headers in a 66 fastback

No the cable clutch was not an issue with the FPA headers. I forget exactly where the "adjustments" were made. I could look if anyone really wants to know. I am very picky and the alterations were very minor. With the FRPP Z Headed 347 things are pretty tight in the 65/66 engine bays...

    Headers in a 66 fastback

I apologize for not following up. The headers are installed and I have had the car since June. Some minor massaging was necessary for the install. I was a little dissappointed that they were not able to just be "bolted" on. I had the car dynoed and it put down 382 RWHP. I feel pretty good...

Dilemma with 65 Fastbacks - need advice

I have always been a big believer in buying the car with the nicest staightest (sp?)body panels a.k.a. no filler. And equally important is a solid rust free frame. IMHO that is always the best starting point for a keeper:nice: Scott

66 mustang red light on in speed...

I remember those from back in the day.. When I was about 9 or 10 years old. I had neighbors that were into 55-57 Chevy's. They put a set of those Barefoot pedals on and I thought it was so cool! Its funny how certain images just BURN into your brain. I used to "help"them wrench on their...

    gt500 price

I am not one that has to be the "First on the block" with the new hot cars.. In other words I am not willing to pay the first on the block tax that goes along with this priviledge:notnice: I am willing to bet that you will be able to buy a two year old 06/07 with LOW miles for...

    Anybody know anything about these?

I do not know much about the original Terlingua Mustangs. I do know that Dallas Mustangs is currently building new Terlingua clone/tribute cars. They are using the FRPP 347c.i./450hp engine in their cars. Big $$$$. Scott
