    To be technical...there were no 2002 SVT Cobras. The ones shipped to Australia and converted to right hand drive are not sold down there as SVT models.

    The only thing to say about using higher octane gas is that during the summer on hot days, unfortuately mine will ping lightly under load. Perhaps light pinging will not really do significant damage in these conditions unless they exist for extended periods of time. Still, I hate to hear it...
