    Sweet, I didn't really notice the hanging RPM's until I was actually looking for it... but sure enough it is there. I have never driven a carb'ed car... so that might have had a little bit to do with it. Anyway, I would also like to be kept up to date on this.... I would make one myself...

    I am pretty sure everyone experiences the first "issue".... it's just the way the car is. We're not driving a BMW here. :p I would say that if you weren't having issues before you downgraded to 89, either go back to 91/93 or pull a little timing out...:shrug:

    Check engine, Speedo, and Odometer

    If the Battery thing doesn't work, I know that there is a way to get a digital read out of your Speedometer.... but I don't remember what it is. This might help to let you know if it is a sensor or the guage that is bad. I assume that some sensor is actually bad since you are throwing a code...

    Full Synthetic Oil

    He just said that it was not recommended, not that you couldn't use it. Any car (as long as it is not brand new) should be able to go ahead and go fully synthetic.

    Another satisfied Nitto DR user…

    I know that quite a few guys over on the Mach1registry are tearing up their stock axles with DR/4.10 combination. I assume they are launching pretty hard, but bettersafe than sorry.

    hmmm, I would have to assume it is the gears. There is really no reason the for tires to be rubbing or anything else. Make sure they got the proper amount of fluid in!

    vibration @ 65mph?

    So it vibrates even when you are not on the brakes... and also, is it only right around 65 or if you go even faster does it get worse?

    9 PSI... Stock Internals??

    Grab the "Boost Cooler" they are talking about in the talk forum (edit: actually it is right here in Tech). Pretty cheap and it should make things MUCH cooler/safer. BTW, it is basically just water injection

    Mach 460. Can the 6x9 in rear be upgraded to a better speaker?

    I am sure there is plenty of room for improvement... but I do have to say that for a stock system, the Mach 460 sounds pretty damn good!

    After getting my tranny rebuilt I dice through 1-2-3-4 like butter! I still have the stock shifter too :)

    Mach 1 First night at the Track in the Mach

    I am officially the slowest car ever! :p I only dumped the clutch the first time, and that was because I was a little nervouse my first run. After that, I started off too slow, but atleast I had traction. Now all I have to do is find the limit where I can launch quickly without tire spin...
