    Yea i know what you mean, i lost a decent amount of money on my old 88 vert when i sold it. Im rethinkign this though, i was thinking about getting a 99+ but im not sure if i will be happy down the road, especially since i posted in the 4.6 section and havent gotten the best responces from them.

    This is a tough decision, I like the newer look of the 99+ and it will be more power than i have now, and would have everything working without all the stupid little maintenance issues. Also just to the person who said about hte trickflow h/c/i i have never seen one get more than just around...

    I would love to but thats a little out of my price range. I want somethign nice that goes decent right now, but down the road i was thinking about doing some stuff to, my good friends all have at least h/c/i foxes so i dont want to be much slower than them if i can help it.

    I am in the process of doing a t-5 swap and i was told you dont need the spacer but for the angles to be right and the driveshaft to be fully in the tranny correctly you need the spacer.     Not sure how it is in cali, but in MA you just get to know someone who does them, or pay a little extra and you can usually get a sticker on just about anything as long as it isnt really bad or dangerous.

    I talked to one of my buddies tonight who used to do inspections stickers until about a year ago, and he said as long as it can pass safety and the sniffer for emissions you should have no problem getting a sticker in MA.
