    LRS economy shortblocks *forged*

A stroker is going to be @ $2100. If you want any sort of decent block ie: Dart; it is going to be another $2000. $1400 seems better than $4500 by the time it's dressed and on the car. I don't want to run a bandaid block like a mexican and have a negligble window, and have to change up...

    LRS economy shortblocks *forged*

Figured I'd toss this up here too as the 94-95 section kinda sucks.. Anyone ever use one or hear anything about them? Anyone actully making any power with them? Was contemplating it for $1400 to my door with the forged pistons. I mean I would assume it's a strong as factory setup that...

    LRS Economy shortblocks *forged*

Anyone ever use one or hear anything about them? Anyone actully making any power with them? Was contemplating it for $1400 to my door with the forged pistons. I mean I would assume it's a strong as factory setup that people seem to be able to break the blocks on? I've been having a hard time...

Lowering your mustang on a budget - with new parts!

After reading what you have given and dug around myself: Yes, if it is too long on the bottom, it is going to limit the downward travel of the shock to where it's not compressing. The extra long under the plate is acting like a bumpstop more or less. The difference in travel if the car was...

Lowering your mustang on a budget - with new parts!

Let me dig a little bit for you if I can find some CC plate instructions and the like and go over them. Could be the 4.6s just plain sit different with the same springs, just strikes me odd.

Lowering your mustang on a budget - with new parts!

It very well could be depending on where the spacers sat, bumpstops etc. Check with your instructions on your CC plates and make sure they are not fox style aswell. I still fail to believe it's the springs causing a ridehight issue.

Looking to you guys for answers

I feel your pain right now on the shortblock end of things. Blackvert gave the best advise really in paying off everything and so forth...what to spend on the car end of it though should be up to you. If you really want out get out. It does get really hard daydreaming on the 'could be like...

    AEM's Other Side

Where are they located? Maybe you should just 'show up' there oneday. I regret to say that I do run their wideband, and have yet to find fault; but this crap is the nightmares I hear people dealing with when working with a scummy greedy homegrown sort of company ran by some pompous ******* and...

    gt40x heads on 94 snake???

Unless the gt40x runs a 2.02 intake valve then no; you can use any of the basic cams usually under the .520 lift using a standard 1.6 rocker without issue. However if you plan to use the stock cobra 1.72s (if those heads are pedestal mount) you might want to look into a slightly smaller cam and...

    Hydraboost upgrade?

What sucks is that when/if you lose the serpentine; you lose hydraulic brake pressure and the car becomes very hard to stop and drive since your powersteering is out at the same time. I've driven a 4.6car that threw the belt and it wasnt fun. It is also another parasitic drag on the engine...

Just bought a 95 stang and had some questions

You guys crack me up sometimes. Lol...those style gauges are pointless yes; but because it's designed for a narrow band 02 sensor. What you are seeing is the car is in open loop mode and cold with a constant a/f reading + the fact that the sensor is still cold. Once the car/sensor is at temp...

    Pics of Convertibles w/aftermarket suspension

;) FWIW I don't think you should be allowed to bitch about springs if you've only changed the spring and left stock style supporting crap on it. I would suggest the OP to look into who runs what for springrate along with the advertised drop. Springs are only one part of the equation of when...

    Update on my Build

Thats a sick tank. Ive no idea how the weldon pumps are, but when I ran an A1000 on a different car I found alot of people do not follow correct mounting procedure for a gravity fed pump. Mine was supposed to be mounted at least half dept level with the tank. Is the weldon a puller too? Just...

    Rare Breeds?

Yeah...I worked for a company that put together a few. Dynatek Racing (05+). Neat how they kinda made their own Watts link; or at least used similar ideas as I have no idea when the Watts link was invented.

Is the 302 too out of date? Obsolete? Should the sn95 guys bail?

:nice: I'm just stirring my e-pot. I bet there are roughly 2x more fast mustangs than there are camaros out there....I can't even tell you how many magazines there are commited to them. That and I never knocked foxes :flag: VOTE FOR ME SN95 OTY!!!!!! :hail2:
