    Actually, you're paying tax you don't owe. Gasoline for your car includes road taxes. You don't owe road taxes for a water craft.

    I don't know if they will even insure a salvaged auto, but the most they would pay is the current value of the car, regardless of what you paid. I would NEVER buy a salvaged auto.

    That's what it's worth. I did mine when I had a Novi 2000. With the KB, it is still worth it IMHO. For a street car, it's not needed.

    I've been running a Moduar Powerhouse billet stroker shortblock for 3 years with no problems. I went 9.8 with a 2.2 KB and 9.4 with a 2.8 KB. As far as I'm concerned, every little bit helps. I think the stroker is worth about 30 rwhp across the board.

    Get a Pro-Line engine from Modular Powerhouse. If you don't want to install it yourself, drive up to Atlanta and get MPH to do the swap for you.

    The block is the cheap part. The expensive part is the rods, pistons, crank, and all the block prep, etc. Order a built shortblock from Modular Powerhouse. This way, you can also sell your stock shortblock or keep it as a spare in case you ever decide to go back to stock.

    My car is now a "track only" car with Strange drag brakes up front. They don't have much stopping ability at all. I ran off the end of a 1/4 track recently. I'm having a chute installed this week. The ABS was deleted with the Moser 33 spline axles and C-clip eliminators. You should be OK...
