Which shocks/struts to use with pro kit?

Yeah he is agreeing with you. haha I did the exact same thing when I was first on here. I was like "is he calling me stupid or agreeing with me?" In regards to the question, I bought Bilsteins off of ebay for like $465 to go with my H&R springs and the ride quality feels no different than...

    Suggested Brake Fluid Inquiry

I went with the Ford Heavy Duty fluid when I upgraded mine. Its only like $3 a bottle and it seems to have a nice wet/dry boiling point for the street. If you are racing though I would probably go with something with a higher dry bp. I just figured since I don't auto-x then the ford stuff should...

    burnout question...help!

Sorry..I wasn't referring to you. I just know there are guys that do that. I don't see how they can..my feet just aren't coordinated enough to do that. I was told my Mark Luton over at MMR that in order to do correct burnouts, don't use your right foot to do both. :nice:

You might want to go to www.modularfords.com and go to the vendor section over there and you'll see a tech section just for KB. There are a bunch of us KB guys that are members there and people with a whole lot more knowledge than me. Ken is Ken Christley who is a head tech guy over there. I...

    burnout question...help!

I've always revved up, dumped the clutch, and move my left foot over quickly to the brakes and just give enough pressure to stay still. I was told never to use your right foot to modulate both the gas and brake.

    bleeding brakes on 97 cobra

You shouldn't even have to touch the power steering. Use the site that Kilgore just posted for good directions. The only thing I would do different is bleed the master cylinder first for good measure. You should have 2 bleeders on the MC; do the one closest to the firewall first, then the other...

Kenne Bell 1.7 (2.2?) Questions - Switching Pulley At Track, Swapping Chips, Big Tube

ok I just did a bit more research and Ken says that you do not need a new tune to go from 9# to 14# but you will need another tune if you peg your MAF so that your a/f will be correct. If you have the 90mm MAF then you wouldn't have a problem.

Kenne Bell 1.7 (2.2?) Questions - Switching Pulley At Track, Swapping Chips, Big Tube

    1. I believe you have to get another tune to run the 14# pulley. 2. its up to you but if you compare the big tube kit to the stocker there is a huge difference in size and you'll have smoother airflow. PD blowers need the least amount of inlet restriction possible to make better power. 3. The...

    no break pressure...help!!!!

Did you bleed the master cylinder? If not give that a shot. There are two bleeder on the MC, so do the one closest to the firewall first, then the 2nd one, then proceed to the wheels. Of course in the order of PS rear, DS rear, PS front, DS front. :nice: If it still doesn't work after that...

    Motorcraft 5w-30 oil

We switched to full synthetic in our van with about 90k and it developed a leak. We switched back to non-syn and leak is gone. I believe that its because syn is a thinner/finer oil, it can seep through where a normal oil won't. Just my thoughts...for what its worth...probably nothing haha
