    3V Mod swap Fox

If you're considering a 3v swap, check out LRS's blog where they did one in a Fairmont. link

If you're doing that to clutches, I hope that QT bellhousing is a scatter shield!

    Illinois Emissions Testing

1995 and older vehicles are exempt from emissions testing in IL. They only test OBD II (1996+) now. If your registration lapsed and you had to re-register your car, you should be grandfathered in, IIRC.

    Dumping codes PITA

No. With the OBD1 cars, clearing the codes requires you to remove the negative battery terminal, so it clears the keep alive memory (KAM) in the EEC.

    DONT FREAK! New Forums Tomorrow

Hey Mike, how do we search for the threads for the day? I'm so used to vB's method (search.php?do=getdaily) that I have no clue how to do it with XF. I'm probably just dense, but I haven't played around with XF in a production environment before. Only a test on their site and I never utilized...

    94 GT Cranks, no start

Stupid question, but has anyone pulled codes up to this point? I don't see it mentioned anywhere in this thread. What trans do you have? That will determine which EEC you'll need. T4M0 for manual, and I believe it's UP40 for auto.

Help! Hesitation after cobra intake install

Do you have any codes? There could still be a vacuum leak somewhere, possibly with the intake gaskets, or the upper to lower. I'm sure jrichker will be along shortly with more ideas to try.

    A little bummed out today

LRS is a good company, they'll take care of you. As an aside, I got a used Explorer engine off eBay that was shipped more carefully than that one. And the pallet was in much better shape.

new, trying to see how to reply or post in classified

I bet the classifieds require a certain post count now, to prevent people from registering with the sole intent of posting something for sale and disappearing after it sells.

    Saying goodbye to my Mustang

BUY IT CHRIS! Sad to see a clean 94-95 be used as a parts car for the FFR Cobra, but it's still a cool project. I'd be tempted to use a rusted out $500 Fox that I picked up off Craigslist though.

    The Motor Pull Thread

When you pull the driveshaft and tilt the trans backwards, it's going to make a horrendous mess on the floor otherwise. I swapped a 4.6 for a buddy years ago and even after draining his auto, it still spilled quite a bit. I'd hate to think if it had the full ~12 quarts, or whatever it took.

    Fuel injection questions

Most tuners are probably going to want you at the factory pressure of ~39 PSI with the vacuum line disconnected. With a turbo and 42's, you really want to get it tuned, or you're going to become a master at replacing head gaskets in no time flat.

    tuning with supercharger

Nope, you'd at least need to expose the J3 port on the EEC and the chip would remain as evidence. You can't flash the 93 EEC. That wasn't until 96 with OBD II.
