Universal Sign For "not Racing You"

I usually start with the thumbs up and a smile, and turn the thumb down and get this annoyed expression on my face. It's pretty effective.

Towing 90' Stick Shift - Need Quick Advice

You'll need to pull the driveshaft if you plan on towing it with the rear wheels on the ground. A tow dolly is probably the best idea. Just mark the driveshaft orientation to the pinion flange, unbolt it, and safety wire it up, so you don't dump all your transmission fluid out the tail...

P0316 is a misfire on startup for the first 1000 revolutions. How many miles and when was the most recent tune-up done?

    New From Divernon, Illinois

:welcome: to :SN: I actually know where Divernon is, since I had a friend that was living in Decatur for a bit and we'd hang in Taylorville every now and again. Middle of nowhere, IL. :D

Engine How Much Hp Can The 5.0 Block Handle?

I've always heard the magic number is around 500 HP, but you also have to take things into consideration like what RPM it'll be turning, whether its a zero balance, vs 28 or 50oz, etc. There's really no wrong answer, it's just somewhere in that neighborhood. There's been people that put far...

    Drivetrain World Class T-5 Trans

Both, sort of. It has a mechanical, gear driven speedometer sensor that bolts to the side of the transmission.

What Is Wrong With My 2004 3.9 Motor?

Toss a scan tool on it anyway. Often times you'll find pending codes that don't trigger the check engine light, simply because the problem doesn't persist long enough.

    Engine Afr Head Studs Leaking.

I wouldn't think so, but the person I've seen talk about it here was Rick 91GT. A buddy of mine used it on his, at the recommendation of the machine shop that built his shortblock. I haven't used it, so I can't comment to its success rate. PTFE is oil soluble, so I would think it could...

    Engine Afr Head Studs Leaking.

I used plain old Permatex blue on my studs, but I have both seen and heard of using RTV on the threads. I would imagine that would do a fine job of stopping any leaks.

    Engine Strange Timing **** Happening

You did remove the SPOUT plug when you checked your base timing, right? To me, it sounds like you're getting the reading with the advance, or the inductive pickup on the timing light is on the wrong plug wire.

    Remote Start In 2012 Base

Crutchfield probably has a wealth of information about what systems work and how to install them. I'm sure there's going to need to be some additional parts purchased, so you can bypass the factory installed anti-theft, too.
