Hey whats up! More 2.3 power needed

I haven't been in the 2.3 game in many years but used to daily a manual 91 sea foam hatch back in the day.. Had good results from switching to a ford ranger header, no muffler, filter and fms aluminum driveshaft. No spare tire or jack to try to keep the weight down as well. It wouldn't break...

    Clutch adjustment?

Sounds like the adjustment is too tight and needs to be adjusted properly. First if it were me I would try to determine what parts I had.. Like what type of cable and quadrant. Steeda cables are adjustable, and their quadrants tend to be double hook style Look at the end of the clutch cable...

    Engine Proper Tensioner

From my experience It would only be a possible issue if he was still running the factory mechanical clutch cooling fan but given his shaved engine bay, lack of accessories I assumed he wasn't when I made my post but I could totally see how that little bit of contact would draw concern. I say...

    Engine Basic catch can routing?

If your not running boost and don't have a ton of blowby then you really don't need one. Just put a oil separator inline and call it a day. But if you really wanted to do a closed system style catch can I believe you would want a three port type. Something like this...

    Engine Proper Tensioner

I've had this setup since 99 and it has never caused me any problems. I would assume you've got your tension way to tight. Loosen that up so you have a tiny bit of movement when you press down on belt with your hand (engine off obviously)

    rough ride.

My opinion comes from riding in a convertible for along time... then riding in it with subframe connectors.

    rough ride.

They are just a factory replacement part so they won't be stiffer than factory parts in same condition. You really should have subframes connectors man, they change the whole feel of the car especially in a convertible

    rough ride.

A fox with warn out struts, shocks on factory springs and factory height tires is really the softest you'll get in that car honestly.. everything else is geared more towards performance where it stiffens up the suspension more. If you replace those struts and shocks with factory replacements...

    Contour fan controller

Brian Baskin of DCC controllers made a deal with Derale a few years ago allowing them to produce his controllers. So a Derale 16795 for example is a DCC controller if your worried about wait times.

    I’m Curious —-Why a Fox?

Mine is a long story but short version is I never liked Foxbodies because they were so popular and everyone drooled over the five point oh so I wanted something different. That didn't happen and I ended up being in a jam when my older brother picked up and surprised me with a 90 black/black...
