    put car in neutral, get a socket for the crank pulley a big breaker bar and see if you can crank it by hand. no spin = seized motor... obviously

    Plan on lots of time. My SVO swap took about a day and a half of staight working on it. Granted I was using my works shop to do the swap so having the right tools like hoist, engine lift, and a code scanner to see whats up after the swap was done...

    i went to the powerhead shop in fullerton to get my cyl head, he was in the middle of changing out his 32lb injectors on a tbird so it i'll smog. they do good work and the price is reasonable, you'll really notice the car breaths better and spools faster

    check it out, whe charged at an hourly flat rate shop such as a dealer but most other places pay techs the same. it will take about 2hours top but they'll charge yo u 5 so draw your own conclusion...

    its cheaper to invest into a 2.3 turbo motor over a 5liter. Not much in power builders for na 2.3's. the front clip should fit with out a problem

    is it holding steady vacuum or is it floating around? leave the vacuum gauge on it and go drive it hard and see what happends. if it holds consistant vacuum at 15 its ok dont really worry about it. probably the tps is out of wack

    14 mpg in my 91 LX

    plugged exhaust, in dire need of a tune up, cap, rotor, oil/filter, plugs, wires,ect... Vacuum leak could be one, and yes a bad thermostat would not allow engine to run a normal operating temp... possiblities are endless pull the codes find out for sure
